Mission Statement
WALEW will seek to effectively influence, support, and monitor
educational reform efforts which relate to the improvement and implementation of programs pertaining to education and work for all students.
Leadership
- WALEW will provide professional development through the summer summit and the fall regional conferences.
- WALEW will support curriculum, instruction, and alignment through standards, benchmarks, mapping, assessment and teaching methodology. Also, clearly define how the non-core area faculty can assist with supporting core standards instruction and meeting provisions of the No Child Left Behind Act.
- WALEW will provide leadership training and Membership services.
- WALEW will support the development and implementation of legislative policy for education and work issues.
- WALEW will recognize "best practices in CTE" through our awards program.
